Valentine's Day

For Valentine's Day I bought each of the girls an outfit to suit the holiday. Then I had to take pictures. We did this for Daddy so he could see how much we love him! We actually went and have professional pictures taken for his present, but we couldn't download them this time. They turned out really cute though. After a wonderful steak dinner, the girls sat down and colored in their new Valentine coloring books that were given to them from Mommy and Daddy. Happy Valentine's Day!

Uncle Mitch's Birthday

Uncle Mitch & Aunt Kiley came over to our house for Mitch's birthday cake and ice cream. As you can see from the pictures, Mitchell requested NO FROSTING on his cake...don't worry all of the rest of us frosted our own pieces since I did have some in the pantry! But he made a point to leave one candle not blown out because apparently he tells us he had one girlfriend...and I am sure Kiley makes a great one! Happy Birthday Mitchell!

ROCK BAND

You better believe that I wasn't naughty this year! Rock Band is awesome and I am way addicted, but you know...everybody wants to start a band! Well you better believe we have concerts over here every once in a while and just let me know...I might be able to get you tickets!

Quilts

For Mom and Dad this year, I decided to tie quilts. I must admit that if I didn't learn this trick on binding them, they would still probably not be done. But thankfully I learned it and I had them done in like three days, start to finish. They were a lot of fun to do, and in all honesty since I can't keep my mouth shut, I actually had to show them to my parents before Christmas. I hope that they get some use! I LOVE YOU MOM & DAD!!! ;)

Uncle Lee & Taylor Swift

One of the things Uncle Lee got from Santa Claus was Taylor Swift's new CD "Fearless." And WOW do you see his expression? I think he has been waiting a long time for this and if I would have known he wanted it so bad and was so excited to get it, I would have bought it for him myself!!! I LOVE YOU -G-!!!

Uncle Mitch & Aunt Kiley's Gift Exchange

So the 2 lovebirds exchanged their gifts and I just have to say that they are so cute and funny. They really lighten up our lives and I hope that they had a wonderful first Christmas together. Love you two!!!

Bailyn's Blocks

Now I am sure that Bailyn does not get the meaning of Christmas, but she sure knows how to open presents. I was finding Christmas presents that were under the tree having little rips and tears before Christmas. With doing the 12 days of Christmas, she was constantly trying to get those books open. So on Christmas morning, when she finally got into, this is what we saw!!! She is my baby and obviously I think this is just so stinking cute!!!

Opening Presents

The girls throroughly enjoyed opening their Christmas present and definitely got spoiled this year. It was so much fun to watch them and see the excitement in their little eyes and bodies as it seems it just wasn't that long ago that I was experiencing that same excitement. I love the MAGIC of Christmas!

Santa Really Came

I think Kyleigh Rae was in a little bit of shock when she realized that Santa Claus really came. She was fun to watch and like I said, I don't really think Bailyn cared too much...yet!

Naughty or Nice!?!

Well I guess for the most part we were nice this year, since Santa did come...even when we were at Grandma and Grandpa's. Kyleigh Rae wanted an I-Pod this year, Bailyn didn't really care, and Joe & I wanted ROCK BAND...YEAH!!!

Christmas Eve at Grandma & Grandpa's

We arrived at Grandma and Grandpa's at about 9:30 or so and everyone was there. They were happy to see that we made it as early as we did. That evening Uncle Lance read the kids a story and Grandpa did the nativity. We had punch and snacks and it was very memorable.
What a wonderful time of year! I love being able to celebrate our Savior's birth and the spirit that comes along with the season. A season of hope, a season of giving, and most of all a season of LOVE. I want my family to know that this was a wonderful time for me to be able to be with all of my brothers and their families to celebrate this season.

Christmas Eve at Home

Mommy and Daddy both had to work on Christmas Eve, so we let the girls open their pajamas before Mommy went to work at 11:00 a.m. They were very excited to be opening a present this early in the day and afterwards, obviously thought that they could open more. We did the 12 days of Christmas for our girls this year and they were able to open a book before bedtime everyday for 12 days before Christmas. We also let them open their last book before I went to work. When I got off at 5:30 p.m. Joe went in until closing which he was able to leave at about 7:30. Then off we went to spend time at Grandma and Grandpa's for the rest of Christmas Eve and Christmas. Santa is coming soon!!!
