Bailyn & Macoy

Bailyn was excited to see and hold baby Macoy. She really loves her babies, or should I say KyRae's babies, as she has adopted each and every single one that Kyleigh has. But Macoy actually moved and cried and made faces on his own and she didn't know what to think. We thought it was hilarious and now she is just obsessed with real babies. Anyway, we all think Macoy is a keeper!

Kyleigh & Macoy

Kyleigh Rae thought baby Macoy was pretty special. She enjoyed holding her new cousin and actually asked Uncle Lance if she could take hime home...can you believe that? (OK, she may have had a little help from her mother, and believe you me, she was disappointed when she was told no.) ;)

Macoy's Home

On April 19, Lance & Dawn got the wonderful news that they were able to take their baby home. So after church, we headed out to Wendover so we could see him and yes...HOLD HIM! It is so wonderful to be an aunt. This little boy is so precious and sweet. I am so excited that he is doing well and hope that all continues to go well. When I got out to Wendover I was kind of a baby hog, but how could you not be with this sweet one!

Easter Dresses

We didn't go to church on Easter Sunday, so technically this is the week after, but no one would really know anyways huh? Pretty sisters...They are so happy when they are together & I do hope it stays this way! I was able to find them both coral dresses without being matching and was pretty proud of myself. I also made their hairclips to match. I tried to make headbands, but I still mess up on the size, so time will tell if I will be able to make them or not.
I wanted a picture of each of them by themselves. I didn't think it was too much to ask, but appearently it wasn't for Kyleigh...

But was for Bailyn. I tried and tried to get a decent one of her by herself, but this is what we ended up with and since I am the world's best mother, this is what gets to be posted and scrapbooked for this year!

Finding Easter Eggs

All the kids enjoyed this part of Easter. They all just thought they were brilliant every time they found one and it was really cute and enjoyable to watch.

Easter Morning

Uncle Lee stayed the night before Easter and so he was here as well as Lance, Dawn & the kids. The kids got up that morning and while Kyleigh was looking for baskets, Bailyn was overwhelmed and didn't know what to do. So in the midst of looking for her own basket, Kyleigh found Bailyn's. She did finally find her own and boy was the Easter Bunny good to them!

Dying Easter Eggs

Kyleigh Rae, Bailyn, Nickole, Jacob, Breckin, and Maile were all at our house to dye easter eggs. We had a great time and the kids came up with some pretty fun eggs.

Easter Egg Hunt

This year Joe & I decided to do an Easter Egg Hunt in our backyard, for more than one reason. The city hunt last year was very very crowded and parking was rough. Plus we thought it would be fun to have friends over and let the kids go at it. Lance and Dawn came last year and decided to come again this year, so we wanted to try and make it more fun. I think we had 13 kids come and hid about 195 eggs. I loved the look of the backyard after Lee and I finished hiding them. It was so pretty! The weather was also something that worried me. The sun was shining pretty much all day, and then I saw a big dark cloud and was worried it was going to start raining. It never did, but it seemed to get darker and darker and then our friends started showing up. I thought for sure it would wait until we sent the kids outside. Thankfully it never rained. It was a little chilly, but we weren't out there for long.

On your mark...Get set...GO!!!

I think that the kids had fun and we had fun hosting it. I hope that it is something that we can keep doing, depending on if everyone else had fun and whether it was worth it to them or not. Our family had a blast though!

My Little Buddy

Lance "Macoy" Dean was born on April 7, 2009 at 2:47 p.m. He weighed 6 lbs. & 4 ozs. and was 19 inches long. Macoy decided to come 4 and 1/2 weeks early (as did his brother Colton) so he is in the NICU, but he is doing really well. He is so precious and his parents are very excited. I was able to go into the NICU and see my nephew and he immediately recognized me as his aunt and he grabbed my finger and didn't let go for a while! Colton was born a little over a year ago, but had more complications and passed away shortly after 18 hours of birth. We miss him very much and have hoped and prayed everything will be okay with Macoy. It sounds like he will be in the NICU for a few weeks, but he is getting the care that he needs. I will be so excited when he is released, so I can pick him up in my arms and smother him with my kisses! I am so excited to be an aunt and can't wait until I can hold this little guy and spoil the heck out of him. Isn't he just beautiful? Nice job Lance and Dawn!!!
