Easter Egg Hunt

This year Joe & I decided to do an Easter Egg Hunt in our backyard, for more than one reason. The city hunt last year was very very crowded and parking was rough. Plus we thought it would be fun to have friends over and let the kids go at it. Lance and Dawn came last year and decided to come again this year, so we wanted to try and make it more fun. I think we had 13 kids come and hid about 195 eggs. I loved the look of the backyard after Lee and I finished hiding them. It was so pretty! The weather was also something that worried me. The sun was shining pretty much all day, and then I saw a big dark cloud and was worried it was going to start raining. It never did, but it seemed to get darker and darker and then our friends started showing up. I thought for sure it would wait until we sent the kids outside. Thankfully it never rained. It was a little chilly, but we weren't out there for long.

On your mark...Get set...GO!!!

I think that the kids had fun and we had fun hosting it. I hope that it is something that we can keep doing, depending on if everyone else had fun and whether it was worth it to them or not. Our family had a blast though!
