Santa Claus is in Town

This year we went to see Santa at the New Gate Mall. When Kyeigh Rae sat on his lap, he asked her what she wanted this year. She wouldn't answer, even though for the past few months she has been telling us she wants an I-pod. Well he turned to her and asked if she wanted a surprise. She said that is what she wanted. I then asked her, what have you been asking for lately? She then stated, "I want a surprise." So I guess at this age, she will probably be satisfied with anything, although I think she might be getting a toy I-pod from Santa. Just a hunch! :)
Bailyn on the other hand, wasn't too thrilled to sit on Santa's lap. She just wanted Daddy to pick her back up. Who knows what she'll get!!!

Aunt Kiley's Birthday

Aunt Kiley and Uncle Mitchell came over for cake and ice cream after Kiley's birthday dinner. We had chocolate cake and chocolate frosting and melted mint chocolate chip ice cream. We are so glad to have Aunt Kiley in our lives and hope she had the best birthday ever. As you can see Bailyn was her tag along and tried to help with the candles!

Christmas Decorating

For family home evening on Monday, we decorated our Christmas tree. Mommy cleaned and put up Christmas decorations that day, and then in the evening we enjoyed the holiday spirit together as a family. We are very excited for Christmas this year. We will be spending it at Grandma and Grandpa's and the girls are way excited about it. This will be our last Christmas here in the apartments as Joe and I have bought a house. We will be moving after Christmas, but are excited to enjoy the holidays before we leave!!!

Potty Training

Well I don't know if we are really potty training yet, but Bailyn loves to sit on the toilet and pretend like she is doing something, then she loves to wipe her little bum cheek. It is cute, and as long as she is not afraid of doing it, I think that she will catch on soon. One can hope anyways!!! If you notice...a little girl sure needs a LOT of toilet paper!

Hogle Zoo

While Mommy was at the hospital with Grandpa and Grandma, Daddy and the girls went to the zoo. It was a beautiful day in November and they really enjoyed it!

Barbie Birthday

After opening many presents, it was time for cake. Mommy made a Barbie cake to go with the theme for this year's birthday. There were Barbie plates, cups, napkins, and confetti to top it all off!

Kyleigh's Birthday

Kyleigh Rae had a lot of fun opening all of her many presents from family. Happy 4th Birthday sweetheart!

Sisters Forever

Kyleigh Rae and Bailyn are truly best friends. For the most part they share and they care about each others feelings. I hope that they will always stay close and remember what is most important in life. I love FAMILY!!!

18 months

WOW!!! If this hasn't been the fastest 18 months of my life, I don't know...It seems like just yesterday I had you. Well I know time flies fast and I want you to know that you are my little sweetie. You crack me up with the way you always want your blanket and the when you get up and down confused, not to mention Mom and Dad. You are learning so quickly and you are just so funny. Please always stay that way. I want you to know that I am always here for you and I hope that you will remember that! I love you my little princess pea!

4 Years

Kyleigh Rae will be turning 4 on November 16th. She has brought so much joy into my life and I definitely cannot imagine life without her. I cannot believe how fast the time has gone and how grown up she is getting. I just want her to know that I love her so much and that I will always be here for her. You are the light of my day and I hope that we will always stay close my little angel!

Family Pictures

It is our yearly Christmas tradition to get family pictures. We did it a little early this year, but it all worked out for the best for us! I hope that we will be able to continue this tradition in years to come!

Pumpkins

This year we carved pumpkins at Grandma and Grandpa's house. Grandpa had been in the hospital for the past week and Mommy went out to spend time with him and Grandma and try to help out with what she could. We enjoyed the time there and stole a couple of their pumpkins so we could still carve them. Mommy forgot the camera, but grandpa took some shots of us actually carving them. Kyleigh Rae really wanted to help and took a spoon and kept hitting it on the pumpking. When I caught on to what she was doing, I told her to stop and Grandma said she's been doing it for quite a while. Sure enough I found a bunch of marks all over her pumpkin. Oh well, she helped huh? KyRae told me that shew ated her pumpkin to look like the one that Grandma had on her table, so we did our best. It is the one with the triangle eyes and two teeth. Ky says it's actually missing a tooth between the two. HA HA HA!!! When we started on Bailyn's, I asked her if she wanted square eyes. NO. Do you want diamond eyes? NO. Do you want triangle eyes? NO. Do you wants circle eyes? NO. Do you want heart eyes? YEAH. Oh my goodness, I thought. I will never be able to do that, but I did, all for that little girl who probably wouldn't have know the difference either way. It was fun though.

Halloween

The girls had fun this Halloween as they already did some trick or treating at the Ward Party. None the less we have more candy than we will ever eat, but they wanted to keep going. We went to a few streets here in Roy, and Kyleigh really didn't want to stop. Bailyn got tired after about 1 or 2 streets, then we let Kyleigh go to one more after that. I can't believe that I am taking my kids trick or treating, it just doesn't seem that long ago when I was excited about it!

Roy 16th Ward Fall Carnival

The Roy 16th Ward Fall Carnival/Halloween Party was a blast. The girls had so much fun. We all brought a pot luck crock pot soup or stew and ate. Afterwards, the kids got to go play games that the YM/YW provided. Kyleigh really had fun with that. Then they went back to to gym and went trick or treating to the ward members. Bailyn was not sure about her bucket until people started putting candy in it. Then she didn't want to stop. It was very fun and I am glad we went!

The Cabin

So this was the cabin we stayed in. It was so much fun and it was so huge! We were originally going to stay for two nights, but only ended up staying one night because of all of the snow that had come in one day. We were worried we wouldn't be able to leave the next day because we would be really snowed in and then we wouldn't be able to pick up the girls, who were at Grandma and Grandpa's. Even though our trip was cut short, it was very relaxing and we really enjoyed the get away. Here's to FIVE years!!!

5th Anniversary

For our anniversary this year, Joe surprised me. I didn't know where we were going or what we were doing until the exact day, October 10th. He ended up taking me to Bear Lake and we stayed in this gorgeous cabin. We went and dropped our stuff off and then we went horse back riding at this place in between Logan and Bear Lake. It was a beautiful ride and even though it started to get chilly, it was so peaceful and fun.

Magician

So as Bailyn was playing with Ky's boa, little pieces of the boa were being left all over the place. At one point I turned around and found this...a cute little wanna be magician. For the rest of the afternoon I called her Houdini. When I saw this I just had to laugh. It caught me so off guard, but I thought it was hilarious!!!

HOT STUFF

When Kyleigh returned from her wonderful dress up party, Bailyn wanted to join in. So being the big sister that she is, KyRae shared her boa with Bailyn and trust me, Bailyn thought she was HOT STUFF!!!

Dress Up Party

Kyleigh Rae was invited to her friends dress up birthday party and she went as Sleeping Beauty, Princess Aroura as she told everybody. She had a blast and came home with a boa, gloves, a necklace, earrings, lip gloss, fingernail polish, dressy ponytail holders and a cute bag. She was so so excited to go and had a blast!!
