Lance "Macoy" Dean was born on April 7, 2009 at 2:47 p.m. He weighed 6 lbs. & 4 ozs. and was 19 inches long. Macoy decided to come 4 and 1/2 weeks early (as did his brother Colton) so he is in the NICU, but he is doing really well. He is so precious and his parents are very excited. I was able to go into the NICU and see my nephew and he immediately recognized me as his aunt and he grabbed my finger and didn't let go for a while! Colton was born a little over a year ago, but had more complications and passed away shortly after 18 hours of birth. We miss him very much and have hoped and prayed everything will be okay with Macoy. It sounds like he will be in the NICU for a few weeks, but he is getting the care that he needs. I will be so excited when he is released, so I can pick him up in my arms and smother him with my kisses! I am so excited to be an aunt and can't wait until I can hold this little guy and spoil the heck out of him. Isn't he just beautiful? Nice job Lance and Dawn!!!

Oh Britt! I am so excited for you and your family! He looks great. You were so upset with everything last year, I am so glad things have turned out better!
Hi Brittney,
I found your blog through Amber's, I hope you don't mind me checking in. Your nephew is beautiful.
