Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve 2010 was very special for me.  I was able to have my whole side of the family at my house to enjoy the holiday.  My Mom and Dad, Lance and Dawn and their family, Mitch and Kiley, and Lee.  It was a very full house and soooooo much fun.  I will never forget it.  Altogether we had 15 people at my house and it was very special considering everything Dad went through the past few months!
On Christmas Eve we always have the nativity story told for Family Home Evening/Christmas Eve Evening.  Dad told it from the bible.  We started out with singing Christmas Hymns and the Christmas songs in general.  Thanks to Mitch and Lee we had a little Josh Grobin action because they think their deep singing voices are awesome with Ave Maria but you know...

Singing and taking pictures...who knows why we insisted on this, but it is Mitch and I. Isn't that enough said!

During Christmas we wrap up Christmas books that we have collected over the years and let the girls open one a night until Christmas.  On Christmas Eve they always get a new book to add to the old ones we have collected.  This is Kyleigh opening the new book which happened to be the hallmark Charlie Brown's Christmas.  You were able to push buttons to hear music while I told the story.  It was very cute and the kids took turns pushing the buttons and loved it!

Bailyn, Nickole, Jacob, Kyleigh Rae, Trevyn and Macoy in the front middle.  All in their new Christmas pajamas and ready to go to bed...so sleepy right!?!?!  I don't think so Mommy!
