Chemo's Rough

The latest on Dad is that he has been having a rough go for a couple of days.  He has been pretty nauseated and they are giving him something for nausea as often as they can so that he is getting coverage 24/7.  He is pretty painful at this point too.  He is getting mouth sores from the chemo which are painful and make it so he has a hard time eating.  At this point he is on TPN for nutrition since he isn't keeping much down.  He also had a platelet transfusion today.  He is very weak and tired and it seems to be that his levels are bottoming out.  We hope that the worst of it is over, but he has to take it a day at a time.  All that is going on is to be expected with the chemo that he has had, so technically it is not out of the norm, although it is not what we wish for.  I love you Dad and pray for you day and night.  Get better soon!
