Stem Cell Transplant

Well this has definitely been a rough road, but the stem cell transplant is here.  Dad will be receiving his stem cells tomorrow, October 28, 2010.  He has been nauseated and weak today, Joe went and saw him.  I am planning on going tomorrow to celebrate his "2nd Birthday" or his 3rd, whichever way you want to look at it.  When we went to the class about this whole process they said that the transplant day is actually the day that they look forward to and they never feel bad about giving someone back their own stem cells.  So knowing that Dad is getting weak and obviously tired of being in the hospital, hopefully we are on the track to getting him well enough to come home.  Good luck and I love you Dad!!!
